LEED Facilitation
Certification for Sustainable "Green" buildings

What Does LEED Cost?  Click Here for Guidelines

LEED Certification, as awarded by a review committee at the Canada Green Building Council, is the end result of a structured process.  The LEED rating system requires objective evidence that specific requirements have been met in the areas of Site Sustainability, Water Efficiency, Energy & Atmosphere, Materials & Resources, Indoor Environmental Quality, and Innovation & Design.

Design Team Cooperation
No single participant can guarantee a successful LEED certification.  It takes full cooperation from everyone on the design and construction management teams, with periodic sessions to discuss and manage competing priorities.  This type of integrated design process puts the team in the best possible position to deliver an excellent "Green" building.  Efficiency Engineering can deliver LEED compliant mechanical and electrical system design, execution, and commissioning to support your objectives.

LEED Consultant Role
As LEED Consultants, Efficiency Engineering’s role would be to assess the feasibility of LEED consideration for a particular project.  Where design parameters have already been set, or where construction has already begun, we can perform a gap analysis for an action plan to take a project from its current state to a desired LEED certification target.

LEED Facilitation Role
As LEED Facilitators, Engineering Efficiency’s role would be to guide the design team through the LEED process, exploring alternative means of meeting the objectives of the building owner, budget constraints, and LEED requirements.  During the process, Efficiency Engineering will track and report the team’s progress, oversee the coordination of documentation preparation, collection, and collation, manage the coordination of LEED credit interpretation requests, and, upon completion of the project, prepare the full LEED documentation package for submission to the Canada Green Building Council.

This process will give any project the greatest chance of achieving the desired level of LEED Certification.
