Apartment/Condo Heating Plant Pricing Tool
| The costing
estimate provided by this tool is based a statistical
analysis of 60 contractor quotes and actual installed
costs in apartment buildings in southwestern Ontario
since 2003. The sample buildings were all heated by
gas-fired hot water boiler systems, and varied in size
from 24 to 375 suites and 3 to 29 floors above grade.
The relevant variables were collected and analyzed using
multi-variate linear regression, to arrive at a costing
figure that is accurate within 10%, 9 times out of 10. |
