We are looking for a sales engineer with at least four years of HVAC or energy management sales experience. A significant part of that experience must be in Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales of consulting projects to building owners and managers in the commercial, institutional and multi-residential markets. Consulting projects will include energy audits, HVAC design (existing and new construction), LEED facilitation and other energy-saving projects.
Compensation will be a combination of base salary and commission.
Primary Activities:• Network within the building and HVAC industries. This includes active participation in sector organizations such as BOMA, FRPO, GTAA, CAGBC, etc.• Consult with Efficiency Engineering staff for technical information and coordination of resources.• Make sales presentations.• Quote projects.• Write proposals.• Liase with service delivery partners and negotiate partnership arrangements.• Hand off projects to Project Managers.

• Effective communicator and naturally persuasive.• Strong oral and written english language skills.• P.Eng. designation or candidate.• Well mannered with personal integrity.• Personable.• Self starter and self finisher.• Able to see the big picture and envision solutions to complex customer requirements.A mechanical engineer with strong interpersonal skills who is familiar with building mechanical and electrical systems, and personally believes in the need to conserve resources would be an ideal fit.
